Expressing places

Written by Kiswahili

Key Concept: in most cases when you want to communicate the place you are (or a place you are from , or a place you are going )   in Kiswahili you add “-ni” to the root vocabulary explaining about a particular place, these vocabularies are nouns- names of places.

We will primarily use three words for explanation, and as I told you, these are nouns,  particularly names of places;

     • Shule=School

     • Soko = Market
